Trial Date Set for Mark Cohn in 4Star Trustee CaseAccording to court filings, the judge overseeing the Four Star bankruptcy has scheduled a trial date for Mark Cohn. Cohn, a former principal of Four Star, has been sued by the Trustee appointed in the Four Star bankruptcy case. The Trustee alleges Cohn engaged in breach of duty of care, fraud and deceit, and legal malpractice. The trial is set for July 25, 2005 at 9 am, 255 E. Temple St., Courtroom 1345, Los Angeles. Cohn is currently serving a federal prison sentence for telemarketing fraud. Four Star was also convicted in the telemarketing case.
The Four Star Trustee has also initiated litigation against former Four Star principals Ron Anson and Jack Garrett over alleged fraudulent transfers and breach of fiduciary duty. Hearings in those complaints are scheduled for June 2nd and 30th at 10 am, 255 E. Temple Street, Courtroom 1345, Los Angeles.
